Update from Mr Spendlow 3.4.20

Easter Competitions

Dear parent/carer and students,

We are fast approaching the end of our second week of partial closure and parents, students and staff appear to be settling into this new routine, despite the extraordinary circumstances. Thank you for all your support in keeping students home as much as possible. I do hope your son/daughter continues to access the on-line learning platform. If there are any difficulties, please continue to report it through our admin email or calling the academy.

The Easter break is nearly upon us and we would all usually be relaxing over the next two weeks. As your child has been diligently working on-line, we ask them to have a break for what would have been their normal break anyway. In addition, we will be launching two weeks of subject competitions.  We hope that students will get involved purely for fun and with the motivation of winning a prize. We will post these competitions via twitter, the academy website and/or schoolcomms – so please encourage them to get involved.

We do intend to issue prizes at the end of the two weeks and wanted to inject some light relief during this difficult time and before on-line learning commences after the Easter break.

Again, thank you for your continued support and together, when normality resumes, we will push forward to ensure success for all our learners.

Kind regards,

Mr R Spendlow
