JWA tackles plastic waste from drinks containers

I just wanted to take the opportunity to contact you to make you aware of a new initiative the academy and Trust are introducing in an attempt to reduce the amount of plastic waste we produce each week.
Generation Juice is a new machine that provides juices of a variety of flavours that can be accessed with the use of a traditional water/juice bottle. Therefore, from Tuesday 7th March, conventional bottled and canned drinks will no longer be on sale. Instead, all students will have access to this machine or the option of continuing to access free filtered chilled water.
All students simply need to use their own water bottle from home, or use the water bottle we will be giving free to all students prior to the Tuesday 7th March launch date.
