Course Details: KS4 | Students study French or Spanish throughout years 7,8 and 9. Lessons allow the students to work in all 4 skill areas using a variety of engaging activities. Numerous topics are covered, enabling students to communicate at a personal level as well as being given more creative opportunities. Students study 3 key areas: Identity and culture Local, national, international and global areas of interest Current and future study and employment The content of the GCSE course is much more interesting and relevant for today’s teenagers. |
KS3 (Years 7-9) Course Overview | Throughout Key Stage 3, we aim to build on the language skills that students have learnt throughout Key Stage 2. We develop listening, speaking, reading and writing skills together actively promoting cultural awareness and British values. We use a wide variety of authentic resources, including video and podcasts, together with Linguascope online resources to support student learning. |
